THE (Of)Case of two refugees: a humanitarian and European issue.

In day 09 of September, a fire on the Greek island of Lesbos, no Moria Refugee Camp, prompted the mass relocation of 13.000 people mostly from conflict zones in the Middle East. The incident started after a protest in the field generated by the strict quarantine imposed after the detection of cases of COVID-19 (The country, 2020). After this, in 16 of September, six young Afghans under the age of 20 years were accused by the Greek authorities for being involved in the event (Estadão, 2020).
Humanitarian conditions within the Moria camp were extremely precarious: over crowded, unhealthy, lack of water, lack of basic sanitation and other factors that....
